How to become a member

Find out how to join FESIE and participate in our European trade union network.

The federation shall have two categories of members:

  • Full members with the right to vote:
    • All European education inspectors' unions, as defined in Article 5, which have applied for membership and have proceeded to nominate their representative to the European Federation of Education Inspectors' Unions;
    • Full members may also be trade union organisations that include inspectors of education, which must appoint an inspector as their representative who must be accredited by their respective trade union structure as having the authority to undertake commitments for cooperation within the European Federation of Trade Unions of Inspectors of Education.
  • Honorary members without voting rights:
    • Honorary members may be admitted, through the authorisation of the General Assembly, based on the analysis of the interest, pertinence and grounds presented. An honorary member is someone or an organization allowed to join temporarily either because there is no union of inspectors of education in their country or if there is a union, it is not participating in FESIE.
